16 oz. can, pours a clear amber with a large white head with long retention. Nose is wonderfully fresh, with light of freshly cut grassiness, herbaceous hops, some straw, and biscuity malt. Flavour is maybe not quite as bright, but it's definitely fresh and vibrant, with bready malt, moderate grass, and a nice herbaceous character. Could maybe be more aggressively hopped, but the structure is so clean. Highly drinkable and very tasty.

Tasting at Ryan's, can
Hazy dark blond colour. Aroma of bread, beans, swamp water, light grassy hops. Soft mouthfeel, bready and biscuity malt flavour, mild grassy hops; something is slightly off, on the malt side (maybe some malt acidity), and it could have just a bit more hop, but it's quite good.

Poured from 473mL can (canned 03/18/2022). Hazy gold with small white head. Light bread malt, light hopping, enjoyable, balanced.

Amber, slight haze. The aroma has a bit of yeastiness and light herbal hops. On the palate, has that fresh zwickel character, and light hop. Definitely gets the character right, even if I prefer a more bitter kellerbier type.

Can. Pours lightly hazy orange, medium off white head, good lacing. Aroma is grainy, bread, noble hop, hint of grass, touch of caramel. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Light body. A bit less bready than i had hoped, but not bad.

Very nice version of the style, with plenty of toasted grain and biscuit notes backed up by gentle veins of red apple, grass, and lemon pith. Finishes with a firm but manageable floral bitterness. Lingering hints of yeast in the fade. A good pint.

Pint can pours with a clear deep gold colored body that supports a full fluffy light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up some mineral notes, a bit of biscuit and a bit of toasted biscuit followed by a mild spicy hoppiness. The taste delivers a fair amount of spicy hops blended with roasted biscuit. The bitterness ramps up a bit to midway as it becomes a little more sweet malts. Nice full flavored lager.

One of the better zwickels around. Lightly cloudy pour with white head. Fresh bread aroma. Lekker grain and honey body. Well balanced with a nice finish.
