Crazy this is under 3%. Opaque black, big ring of beige head. Nose is big, marzipan, chocolate syrup, malt, cinnamon. Flavor leads with high end cocoa and coffee, light baking spice, malt, caramel. How is this 2.8%? Medium bodied, creamy, off dry. Damn. 8 5 8 5 15

Single from Appalachian. Low boost goblet @home in between some meads. Dark, brown sugar, voluminous head. Watery, charry coffee & burnt toast. Charred, low bitter, slightly sharp, intense cold brew. Sooty finish. Very old school coffee, but with mellow intentions. Soft but ample carbonation, a bit dusty. Good.

12 ounce can from Beer Run, 1/12/20. Near black, large fizzy brown head, good retention. Aroma of coffee grounds, chocolate, nuts. Taste is coffee grounds, dark chocolate. Medium-full bodied, mild bitterness, low carb, dry. Nice.

Not bad, a little thin and acidic, though, with strong coffee cherry notes on top of mocha and toasted bread undertones. Finish has a mild roastiness followed by a moderately bitter fade. Not a lot of depth, but drinkable.

$3.20 can, WW. Pours black with a soft brown head. Nose is freshly ground coffee, chocolates, cocoa, chocolate. Flavor is iced coffee, rich chocolate and cocoa, more coffee. Missing the alcohol bite, for sure, but this is really good - tons of flavor.
