Bottle at home. Bought at BOB, Sydenham. Virtually no aroma, a hint of dough and sourness. Medium Amber. No head. Flat. Medium bitter. Grows in strength and in to the long dry finish, becoming astringent. Light bodied, an oilyness. Carbonation in the finish. Wouldn’t describe it as ’crisp’. Not overly keen on it.

Bottle from the Joint. Pours completely clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy white head that quickly fades out. The aroma holds notes of sugary cereal, bread, some off phenolics, light smoke, crackers. Medium sweet flavor, sugary and a little oily, with more crackers and cereal, hints of candied ham, light caramel, white bread, minimal bitterness. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish with a bit of butterscotch, subtle smoke, more honey and caramel, simple bread, barely any hops. A few flaws here.
