7.8/10 Appearance 7 Aroma 7.5 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 8
From Good Times Oakland, canned February 10th.

It pours a clear pale gold, small head of foam, retention and lacing are good.

The smell is big citrus with big malt, bitter and sweet, some alcohol noticeable.

The taste is grapefruit citrus, pine, sweet malt but still a big bitter kick, alcohol is noticeable. I do get a little hint of dankness and fruit.

Almost full bodied, I would drink this again. I will because I have another can.

Poured from as 12 oz can dated February 9, 2021. Aroma is moderately hoppy with grapefruit, pine, citrus pith and lighter dank notes. Medium light cracker malt and light caramel notes. Light alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, bright copper-good color with a medium sized, fairly thick, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and moderate length legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with quite a bit of cracker malt and caramel notes. Moderately strong bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of grapefruit, citrus pith, a light floral note, some dank, pine resin, and hints of stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid TIPA but not an amazing one. The malt profile is well done, but it would support more bitterness and hop notes.
