Poured from a 16 oz can dated November 04, 2020. Aroma is hop forward and fruity with notes of passion fruit, guava, pineapple, tropical citrus and lighter dank, resin notes. Like cracker malt notes and hints of oats and alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale, golden straw color with a fairly large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with light cracker malt notes and hints of oats. Medium bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Flavor is full of bright fruity, hop notes that differ a bit form the aroma with a lot more melon, stone fruit and tropical citrus notes. Lighter pineapple and passion fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid DIPA. The hop aroma is pretty standard, but the flavor was much brighter and fruitier than the aroma let on.
