Bottled. Slightly hazy orangeish amber colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is tropical fruits, some sweet malts, mild wood as well as some slight ripe fruity tones. Flavour is alcohol, some tropical fruit juice, mild nectar as well as some mild floral and wooden notes.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Hardknott / Brains Gordian Knott ].Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus, light wood - oak. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, citrus, sweet malt, caramel, oak - dry oak. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141206]

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Hazy amber with a thin head. Has a heavy tropical fruit aroma, but a slightly lesser stated taste.

Flaske på rbhd-treff hos OG mars-15: klar gylden med kort hvitt skum. Liflig ipa-aroma, og smaken forsterker inntrykket. Gressaktig med litt citrus. Litt stram i ettersmaken. For en gangs skyld er aromaen bedre enn smaken.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, as Hardknott / Brains Gordian Knott. ABV is 6%. Hazy deep golden colour, large white head. Strong aroma of citrussy, grassy, herbal and minty hops. Distinct American West Coast hops in the flavour, a little malty sweetness, and a sharp and very bitter finish.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at OGJ’s 03.03.15. Orange. Foamy amd persistent off-white head and lacing. Fine IPA aroma, with citrus and tropical fruits. Similar taste. Refreshing, but the aroma is more.refreshing than the taste.

Orange amber, hazy, white frothy head, nice lacing
Aroma of sweet orange, pineapple, tropical fruit, boiled sweet fruits, getting a slight hint of banana, jammy fruits, fruit salad nose. Really fruity aroma.
Taste - Lots of sweet tropical fruits, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, mango. Sweet fruity caramel malts. Some bitter citrus zest comes through all of this. Rich flavour for the abv. This clicks with my palate.
Palate - Medium carb and body, quite viscous, sweet fruits. Finish as main flavour, more bitter citrus zest in the finish.
Overall - I liked this a lot. Reminded me of Azimuth. Maybe lucky with the bottle here as the other ratings so far are lower
