Slightly unclear medium golden colour, two fingers frothy white head, mostly diminishing, hardly any lacing. Aroma is grain, pale malts, light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, apple, corny, with average duration, semi-sweet radler-like finish. Light body, oily texture, average carbonation, disappointing, maybe better on a hot day.

Can, hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and slightly soft. Fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy pale malts, sweetish and creamy. Ripe appley fruits. Whisper of spice. Airy finish. A bit stodgy for a blonde but it passes muster.

12oz can pours with a slightly hazy copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a weak near white head. The mild aroma offers up a soft mix of peach and pear like fruitiness where a sweet mango flavored cotton candy note is hanging around in the distance. The first impression of the flavor is that I get a faint sense of a wild cherry barrel aged sour. It is oddly inviting. Around that oddity are other fruity esters notes, a bit of molasses and I can’t shake a sliver or two of barrel produced vanilla bean. Strange stuff and somewhat off but not all that off-putting. Per style, this can of beer is some deranged blonde ale bourbon barrel aged soured hybrid sort of thing.

Slightly cloudy yellow. Smell is somewhat sweet like older lager. Decent co2. Initially this beer comes across a little rude so whatever. Yes, rude like many wheat ales. Glad to see this is not styled as a hefe, has very little wheat attributes. I know its styled as a blond but it is certainly more on the lines of a wheat ale. Perhaps leaning towards a wheat lager. Overall, I would probably appreciate a decent tasting cheap lager compared to this.
