Cask at The Three Tuns, Bristol. Pours clear orange amber with an off white head. Aroma: pale malts, grains, peaches, hint of citrus, light grassy hop. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, biscuit, honey, citrus peel. Light to medium body, average carb, light dry bitter finish. OK

Cask (gravity) @ 31th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2014, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Ashley Down Pale Ale ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, cookie - biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, biscuit malt, sweet malt, light earthy malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141204]

Cask at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours clear yellow with a white cream head. The nose holds light lemon, straw and pale grains. Light sweet flavor with mellow bitter hay, faint resin, straw, grain. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with further grains, pale bread. Fine. Pretty standard.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear paleish gold beer, no real head. Palate is light, semi dry and a little crispy. Light pale malts, trace of cream. Hops are a light grapefruit and orange peel. Light dry finish. Okay golden.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 12/02/2012. Deep gold with a slight white head. Aroma of cereal malts with a touch of hedgerow fruit and leafy hops. Flavour had some solid malts, more fruit and a decent, bitter finish. Fine.
