On tap at the breweries bar inside Markthalle Acht (Bremen) on 19th October 2021, as Wurzigers Kräusen. I had a 0.3 litre glass. Hazed golden pour, white head. Herbal and malty little number with a few citrussy hops for good measure. Interesting and easy to drink.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big but not very persistent frothy white head. Bready malty, slightly oxidized nose with grassy and earthy hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready and yeast-spicy malty taste with grassy hops, lingering into the mildly bitter and chalky finish. 27.VII.18

From the bottle. Yellowish with a light haze. A thin, frothy white head lingers. Grassy aroma, herbal. Taste is mildly bitter, a touch buttery. Finishes crisp. Medium body, but on the thin side. Okay.

Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, small but stable off-white head; moderate dryish grainy-grassy nose with mineralic spots; moderate - dryish as well - bitter favour with some well hidden sweet traces, light bodied; lingering grassy-bitter finish with a small amount of balancing sweet pale malt in the aftertaste. A better version of Your daily ugly German Pils...
