Pours a slightly hazy, brilliant, yellow gold with a medium sized, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a faint acidity and medium light grain notes. Moderately strong bitterness and hints of alcohol. Moderate citrus lime notes with a decent floral note. Light peppery phenolics and hints of herbal, floral hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid saison with a very different fermentation profile compared to typical SARA saisons. This one is much drier and less fruity with a more traditional, European ester and phenolic profile.
