Pours with a dull pale brown colour, a bit murky and not much head. On the nose, it's got a lot of deep vinegary depth, good cherry, and barrel notes. Goes deep on the barrel. The fruit balances well in the finish.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy rusted reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of tart cherries, light balsamic, and Worcestershire sauce. Flavour is quite tart, with very tart cherries, lots of Worcestershire, and, again, a touch of balsamic. Lots of Worcestershire here. Not all that complex and too acetic for me. Meh.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy dark brown with medium frothy beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong leather, oak, cherry skin, funk. Slick body, tart cherry, leather, oak, funky, acidic but not overpowering, enjoyed this.

Poured from a Batch 001, 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with lots of cherry notes. Lighter notes of raisin, date and berries. Medium light notes of toasted bread, caramel, toffee and hints of chocolate and nuts. Light oak and alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, burnt auburn, brown color with a medium large, thick, frothy, tan head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers for a bit on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with moderately strong acidity. Moderate malt notes of caramel, toffee and toasted bread with much lighter notes of chocolate and nuts. Medium light bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong cherry notes with lighter notes of berries, cassis, raisins and prunes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid beer. Lots of fruity notes that work well with the base beer. A classic Flemish style sour with lots of extra cherry notes and a bit more oak.
