Our Quarantot Double IPA is characterised by the extravagant use of various types of American hops to create a complex taste and aromatic experience on a base of Pilsner and Pale malts. Fermentation with a strain of American yeast triggers an explosion of hoppy aromas, bringing out their fruity notes.

Draft glass @ CML Original. Very deep orange, HUGE creamy white head. Nose is overly malty, low old profile, hop profile reminds me a bit of Stone classic beers , bitter pine & mandarin. Too malt with low sweetness even, faint sugar but not bad mandarin, pine, tangerine profile, big pine reminiscent of Stone classical beers, if only less malt,… Body is malt, pine, bit sweet, imperfect but with a good hop profile, lacking right hop + malt balance for me.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale gold with white foam. Aroma is resinous, with also fruity feelings. Also some herbaceous. Body is medium-dense. Taste is rather bitter, with a good body to support it, though the bitterness is long lasting in the finish.
