Our Quarantot Double IPA is characterised by the extravagant use of various types of American hops to create a complex taste and aromatic experience on a base of Pilsner and Pale malts. Fermentation with a strain of American yeast triggers an explosion of hoppy aromas, bringing out their fruity notes.

Draft @ Lambrate Brewpub, Milano. Dorée tirant sur l’orangé avec un col blanc cassé crémeux et généreux. Arôme offre un bouquet fruité et agrumes prononcés et délicieux au niveau des effluves tropicales qui se rapprochent fortement des houblons US. Palais est ici aussi, fortement axé sur des fruits tropicaux alternant pamplemousse et mangue avec un petit résiduel de pin. Houblons style Amarillo, Simcoe et Cascade? Malt ne reste pas en reste et contribue à un léger profil cara-pâle. Les 9% se ressentent sur la fin, mais bon dieu que cette bière se laisse descendre sans problème. Fini légèrement collant aux lèvres avec un petit résiduel sucré.

22/04/2014 Bir&Fud (tap). Ambrata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca pannosa media. Al naso sentori di malto, caramello, luppolatura erbacea, resina e agrumato, discreta, ma non spicca appieno come dovrebbe. In bocca discreto equilibrio, base di malto ben presente e finale amaro abbastanza deciso. Corpo medio-elevato, carbonazione media. Non ha particolari problemi, ma lascia un po’ indifferenti.

[10/19/13] Draught at Eurhop Beer Festival 2013 in Rome. Slightly hazy deep golden. Aroma of piney hops, a bit fruity, and a bit of malt. Flavor has some sweet maltiness, nice fruity and piney hops and moderate bitterness. Medium-bodied.
