The Final Straw (5%) is the perfect pale ale for pretty much any occasion. With a light body and low bitterness, this tropically fruit pale is packed full of southern hemisphere hops, including Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Enigma in the dry-hop. Completed with a juicy citrus aftertaste that is sure to leave you wanting more.

Can from Tesco as part of a four pack. Light misted gold with small white top. Nice fruity hop aroma of white grape, passionfruit, pink grapefruit and white bread + pine. Taste is sweet with grape, grapefruit peel, citrus tanginess more towards lemon than orange, light pine. Slight dryness, light+ bodied, easy to drink as designed. There are better supermarket craft pales but mine worked out at £2 per 440ml can and if I had a Tesco club card would have been even cheaper. Its light, well hopped and quite tasty. Good option to have.

Keg @ Bombay Brew, Rochdale. Hazy dank golden with a head. A light carbonation allows pleasant hoppy notes through, and equally an exotic fruitiness with a citrus base. This has a sweetness.

Can picked up from Tesco and drunk at home in Streatham, London (05/11/2022) - opaque yellow with a white head. NZ hop forward getting lots of lemon and pineapple, the nelson gooseberry chipping in, sweet pale malty, balanced bitter hoppy finish. Ok.

Keg draught at SALT Deptford. Its pale and very hazy with a large ring of off-white head. Light lemony and melon aroma. Taste is wonderfully malt-led with soft sherbety hop notes. More melon and a little bit of grapefruit in the finish with more biscuity malt in the aftertaste. Body's light with slightly heavy carbonation. Simple and effective stuff.
