We first brewed the original recipe for Double Denim a little over 2 years ago and loved it so much that we had to revisit it and make it bigger and better than ever.
We did this by double dry hopping this time around, shining the light even further on the wonderful Idaho 7 & Nelson Sauvin from Crosby Hops & Hop Revolution. This, alongside our brew team’s constant recipe development, has created an incredibly drinkable, yet hugely hop-driven double IPA that we think you’ll love.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy orange pour with a white head. For the man who doesn't have to try twice as hard. Anyway, rich nose of mango, papaya, peach, pineapple, citrus, passionfruit. Big fruit laden flavours of the above. Citrus & tropical fruits dominate the mouthfeel. Spicy hoppy finish. Top notch dipper.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, smooth if very slightly thin, good fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light smooth malts, a lovely light creamy sweetness. Crisp pine into bright juicy citrus, orange, tangerine, mandarin - all coloured by a light savoury hop and nibbly hop spice. Traces of lemon and mango. Crisp finish. Hop spicy linger. Another rather nice dipa from Track. I think the UKs best dipa brewer just now.

Can at home, from HOTM, 25/11/24. MCR rake on Rake my Bier dot com #2000 ... fittingly from the number 'Juan' brewer in Manc. Announced this to my wife as I rated ... called me a sad cunt! I'll take that most days ... T Hanks. Hazed orange topped with a lasting creamy white cap. Nose is ripe tropicana, orange pith, Nelson whisper, stone fruit, grass, guava, pine resin. Taste comprises gooseberries, stone fruit, grass, pine resin, papaya, grapefruit, juicy citric flesh, mango kiss. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness. Seems the rakes at the big Wally festival were outliers! Top drawer DIPA from MCR's finest.

440ml can. Murky golden, white head. Aroma of is very dank, even a bit savoury/vegetal, tropical and citrus fruit. Taste is very dank, tropical fruit, grapefruit, vinous, mango, herbal, citrusy. Medium bodied. While this definitely grew on me I'm not convinced it's better than the original, a bit too heavy on the dank/vegetal side for me.
