Sherry barrel aged limited version of Pime Öö.
Taste: Big and bold, this immediately makes the Pedro Ximenez felt. Luxuriously sweet, with a heavy presence of cherry and chocolate. The raisin character from the aroma comes through again, sliding down the tongue smoothly. Best enjoyed when sipped by a fireplace.
Appearance: Jet black with a brief ruby tinted light brown head.
Nose: The smell of dates, raisins, cranberries, and above all, sherry overwhelm the room. Blackcurrant jam, smooth chocolate, and a light toasted oak character come through later, whilst sweet malts and a hint of alcohol closes the aroma.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Special B, Crystal 300, Crystal 150, Crystal 200, Carafa type 2 special, Chocolate malt, Chocolate Rye, Oats
Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer

Glass at ’’de 24 uurs van Maastricht’’, Black with a small brown head. Aroma is sherry, malts. Taste is the same, bitter sweet aftertaste that lasts long. sherry is sometimes a bit too much in the flavour

Draft sample @ TCBW ’16.

Draught @ TCBW 2016. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, sherry, licorice, wood, oak and syrup. Taste is massively sweet, roasty and heavy with loads of sherry, toffee, oak and wood. Finish is massively sweet, sticky and syrupy with loads of oak, wood and vanilla. Waaaaaay too sweet for my taste.

Draught @ All in Beer Fest. Pours pitch black with a small mocha head that leaves a small ring of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, roasty and fruity with roasted malts, dark bread, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, moist wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, dark grapes, prunes, moist soil and hints of sherry alcohol. Taste is very sweet, malty and heavy fruity. mouthfeel is round, viscous, syrupy, slightly boozy and near full bodied. Finish is heavy sweet and slightly bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, raisins, prunes, dates, moist soil and sherry alcohol. Quite great if you see past the sweetness.

Bottled@Pub Winston Fest 2015. Pitch black colour, no head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, salted liquorice. Flavour is mild gluelike alcohol, some liquorice, and quite a bunch of sweetness from the various elements put into this one. A bit boozy for it’s own good in the flavour.

33cl bottle @Brewdog helsinki. Pours black with a thin espresso head. Plummy, oaky, molasses, dark fruits in aroma, complex stuff. Flavor has plums, dark dried fruits, Commandaria wine like notes. Loong finish. Balanced, not too sweet, abv hidden. Awesome stuff!
