Cask @ Leeds Brewery Tap, Leeds. Black with a thick creamy-frothy light brown head. Potent with its coffee, there’s a decent flavour of this too but its strength dominates here, uncomfortably so.

Cask. House of Trembling Madness, York. 2nd October. Nearly black. Film of tan head. Treacle. Molasses. Light smoke. Light liquorice. Fruity, roast malt. Taste is thick sweet. Some woody dryness. A bit boozy, but is soft and rich in the mouth. Dark chocolate bitter finish, with more of the booze.
