Handpull cask at the Queens Head, Marlpool. Light to mid-gold and clear with a smallring of white head and generous lacing. The aroma is light bordering on dull (some citrus Ringland grassy notes) but the taste is resplendent: intense tropic fruit with tampering and grapefruit juice, turning from mildly sweet to nicely bitter in the finish. The bitterness lingers long after the sip. Oily body, low to no carbonation. Excellent stuff.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Woodman. Warm golden body, close-to-clear. Dotted spots on the glass from a filmy layer. Bread and ripe fruits on the nose. Taste of toffee alongstide moments of leafy hops. Decent bitter, mid-dry end. Fine depth. Likable. Celebrating Finn's rating no. 12000. (Birmingham 03.02.2020).

Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Lavt luftig skum. Litt uklar. Lett sitrusaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Tørr bitter avslutning. Greit øl og pub til å runde rundt tall. Det kunne ha vært mere feststemning over ølet.
