A luscious golden summer IPA brewed with passionfruit and blood orange.
Taste: Juicy overpowering tropical fruits and citrus leads the taste — besides the passionfruit and blood orange there are hints of other, fresh papaya, overripe mango, and even fresh cut pineapple. A simple biscuity and slightly grainy malt base, smooth tropical hops, a basket of exotic fruits, all supported by an elegant bitterness - this will make you long for summer long before, and long after.

0.33 l bottle shared with little Fikica. Hazy golden, medium off-white head, quickly diminishing. Moderately hoppy, strong fruity character, sour fruit, citrus, passionfruit. Light oxidation, old. Fruity flavours, biscuit background, bitterness low. Aroma is preserved. Still nice. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, light finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks rayaron. Slightly hazy yellow. Passion fruit, citrus, hops, a bit sweetish, some phenolic smokiness, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. A bit weird.

Draft at NAIV. Orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is freshly squeezed orange juice, passionfruit. Taste is citric, mildly bitter. If orange juice could be beer then this would be it. Body is to the light side of medium. Carbonation is mild. Interesting.

Picked up at De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands and consumed at Camping Loggerhuis The Farm, Ijsselhoeve, nr Zalk and Hattem, Zwolle, Netherlands Monday 24th September 2018. Very fruity beer, the passion fruit gives this a very pleasant and tart bite. It could be a little more bitter, but it's a good beer, in fact the orange comes through a little more now as you get into it. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, faint orangey golden colour, a great deal of of suspended sediment load, small to average, foamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity aroma has minimally soapy notes of peel orange, blood orange and hints of overripe passion fruit, cautious overtones of wet carboard and silage. Taste is bitter and fruity hoppy, slightly citrusy, minimally soapy, hints of blood orange, orange zest, diluted hints of passion fuit, a touch of wet cardboard. Way below Põhjala's average.
