Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l bottle. Old school label art. BB 26.07.26. Clear mid golden in the glass, one finger white head. Nice. Little bit sweet fruity with caramel on the nose. Taste starts on a more malty side, increasing intensive bitterness. Not as cheap fruity as most other Heller Bocks. Present alcoholic. Below average carbonated. Not bad.

Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Fine grasy malty aroma. Starts strong, spicy-malty, wheaty hints. Shy herbal touch. Also some woody notes. Finish well balanced, woody-malty-spicy. Nice!

--Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. -- Clear golden, mid sized firm head. Mid sweet with above medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Honey anf dough, floral grass. Mid bitter finish.

Golden colour, white foam. Nose of grass, a bit herbal, sweet malty, a bit floral. Interesting Bock.

Bottled. Orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white creamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grass, herbs, mild hay, grains and a bit floral notes. Flavour is grainy, sweet malty, some hay, grass, mild floral notes as well as some slight alcohol notes as well. Yet in a very nice balance.

50cl bottle. BB 05/08/2018. A clear deep golden beer with a mid-sized to huhge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, semi strong malt, straw, hints of caramel. Taste of caramelish mid sweet malt, grains, toasted malt, hints of honey.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Wurm Turnier Bock Hell ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, sweet malt, pale malt, hay, light grain. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, heller bock alike malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light light alcoholic. [20160605]

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Freshly baked bread, grass, chewy malty and a bit of fruit and sweet crackers. Full bodied. Soft and delicious.

Vom Faß im Biergarten des Gasthofs Zur Post, Dollnstein (16.4.2015). - Intensiv goldgelb, klar. - Geruch anfangs stark malzsüß und etwas spritig, etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. - Antrunk breit malzsüß mit bocktypischer, „dichter“ Schwere und intensiven hellen Malzaromen. Schwach rezent, sehr vollmundig. Im Abgang etwas derbe fruchtige Herbe (Orangenschale), die sich mit der breiten Malzsüße reibt. - Sehr intensiv malzlastiger heller Bock, der nach anfänglichen Gewöhnungsschwierigkeiten seinen eigenen Reiz entfaltet. Ordentlich.
