Pale, some haze, haze some nice hop spice, decent body, a little bit of phenol - this is a thing here - but otherwise I like it and it’s a nice showcase for what can be done in BC.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of dull bittering hops, grass, and soft bready malts. Flavors follow same with a bit of plastic and floral hops.

Poured from the tap (after ordering, I realized the menu says 2021 version, seriously Darbys? Is that a typo or are you that daft?!). Hazed blonde with white head. Super muted citrus pine hop finish and otherwise pretty bland generic malt. The bartender claims they don’t sit on kegs, they just tap what’s given to them. I honestly don’t know if this is the 2021 version that fell off or the 2022 version since I have little faith in Barnside as a brewery…

2021 version, slightly different. Cloudy amber, white head .Big fruity citrus nose. Brief malt fore, nice citrus/piney hop palate. Good lasting bitter hop finish
