On tap. Pours a thick dark brown with light head. Aromas of thick sweet milk chocolate and powdery roasted malts. Lots of lactose. Flavors follow same. Overly simple, thick and sweet. Not up to twin sails stout standards.

Black, small tan head. Nose and palate of lactose and light roast. Good, not great

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt and a touch of dark fruit. Flavour is more assertive on the dark fruit, with medium roasted malt, and some milk chocolate. Creamy, smooth palate, with just enough fruit to complement the roasted malt and chocolate. Very nice stout.

Can. Black colour with a fairly think head. The cherries and figs show through a bit on the nose, and they are still there, balanced on the palate. There's a nice sweet chocolate and coffee base, too. A good stout.

Draught at the brewery
Black colour. Good chocolate flavour and aroma, supported by the moderate sweetness, with a touch of roasted malt.
Good and pleasant to drink, robust Stout.
