Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Almost clear deep brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark chocolate malts. Fair bit of Sorachi bitter lemon and floral lemon. Light dry finish. Mellow bitter linger. Nice Sorachi fix off this beer!

Cask (handpump) @ Furnace Inn, Duke Street, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 3BX. [ As Shiny Sorachi Dark ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, dark malt, citrus notes, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160220]

Cask, half-pint, thanks to Fin, shared with Finn during a mini beer festival at Furnace Inn. Crocheted lacing from a decent fawn-coloured head. Dark brown body, cloudy. Smell of dark malts, dough and dried fruits. Well blended taste of chocolate malts, liquorice and resinous hops. Roasted bitter tail. Fine bodied. Tasty (Derby 18.02.2016).

Fra fat på Furnace i Derby 18 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Svart. Så vidt gjennomskinnelig rød. Litt lacing. Lett plommearoma med hint av lær. Smaken søt mørk frukt. Tørr ettersmak. Thanks to Fin for this one as well.

Cask gravity at Merton Winter BF 2016. Black beer lasting tan head. Dark malt lactic aroma. Roast milk. Better in mouth but still a little milky. Roast malt dry finish. Not much of the sorachi pineapple. Some coconut milk. Some bitterness on the finish. Some sorachi comes thru later. Pineapple. Decent condition. Mostly cocoa . Decent just not to my taste.
