Cask at The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is spicy upfront, woody, brown bread, biscuit, touch of caramel and some pine. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, woody, spicy, nutty, twiggy, chewy, biscuit and some leather with a drying finish. Light to average body and moderate carbonation (for cask). Nice aroma on this, which made me hopeful, but the taste is a bit earthy and twiggy. Fair.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a golden yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma has biscuits and a hint of lemon. In the mouth it is light and sweet, but with some underlying bitterness. Flavour has caramel and citrus with a little hoppiness. Later on there are traces of herbs and spices. Finish is quite bitter and slightly sticky. This is OK, but rather bland.

Cask at Cafe Beermoth - Manchester. Pours clear burnished gold with a tight, creamy off-white head. Toasted grains in the nose, some bread, leaves and earth. Light sweet flavour with touches of toasted toffee, grainy bread, orange peel, bitter leaves. Light bodied with fine carboantion and creamy texture. OK balance on the finish, more grains, bread, faint earth and caramel, aged berries. Faintly astringent in the aftertaste - like an over-steeped tea. A rather basic bitter.
