Newcastle jaunt. Keg at the Newcastle Tap. Pours murky orange juice with a thin white head. Aromas of tinned mango and malt. Taste is fruity, spicy, some woody notes. Quite a mouthful. Slick finish

Draft at CBC CG - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Certainly fruity, if vague, with bready pale malts, mellow citric tang. Light to medium bkskwd with fine carbonation. Further citric notes in the finish. So so.

Keg at craft beer Co Covent Garden. A hazed orange golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is semi sweet juicy mango, tangerine, raw grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, mango, orange rind, wheat, petrol. Not much sorachi. Palate is grainy, highish carbonation. Ok.

Can. Hazy orange beer, good fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Light sweetish malts. Good tinned mango. Modest pine. Quite hard to pick up the Sorachi, mango dominates. Light crisp finish. Nicely mango and a good summer ipa, just a little 1d.

440ml can. Pours murky gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet vanilla and meaty mango. Taste has mango purée throughout and sweet vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel.

Tried in a bottle from Real Ale, Newark. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma has mango and tropical, as is the taste with a mid body.

Tap. Barrow Hill jamboree. Cloudy orange. No head. Nose has earthy, creamy sorachi. Some mango. Taste is light sweet. Turns light, zesty bitter. Thin mouthfeel. Soft bitter finish.

Keg at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16. Murky orange with no head - not a looker. Nose is light Sorachi, orange pith, mango, straw, spice. Taste comprises more prominent Sorachi Ace, mango flesh, vanilla, citric tinged straw, light peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... drinkable but doesn’t really bring the Sorachi hops into play too much.

Keg at Chesterfield Rail Ale Jolly with RB crew; hazy amber pour with zero head, aroma has mango and some spice, taste has mango along with that crazy sorachi action.
