A stout that you can have more than one pint of was our aim. It has a huge roasted character, chocolate and coffee flavours and a dry finish.

Gravity cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Dark cola-brown, flat. Roasted coffee and prune smell. Initially quite sweet but bitter roasted malt takes over near the finish. Disappointingly thin palate, but all in all a really good porter.
