Bottle, 6%. Gusher. Nearly black, huge beige head. Roast and choc aroma, nearly overpowered by massive co2. Chocolate and mild roast flavour. Overcarbonated for sure but seems clean enough.

Bottle 50. This batch only 7,0% and hence no longer really Imperial. Pours a clear brown with a reddish hue and a neat, lacing, beige head. Heavy smoky nose, distinct peat and iodine notes. Rich, sweet, roasty body with tobacco, tar and rather heavy peat. Rich, solid and warming and the peat is adding to the flavor rather than overpowering it. A solid black beer. 200819

Sample from 50 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, dark malts and liquorice. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity with dark malts. Ok.

Bottle@Lars - Black pour with a beige covering. Roasted and sweet malty with some notes of chocolate, some treacle, medium body, pretty high carbonation, slightly acrid and ashy charred burnt accents into the finish
