This jammy delight of a collaboration with our pals at Beak Brewery was made by co-fermenting 500kg of fresh plums with wild ale, before being aged again in Marsala and Port barrels.

Fruit and barrel notes resonate through the aroma and flavour, giving sticky sweet plum, light oak and tannins, and hints of fortified wine.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Kind of got talked into this one. Hazed / murked plum red. Good thin dense lasting just off white swede. Nose has sweet Marsala. Plum flesh and stone. Red wine dregs. Taste is fairly sweet up front with an earthy vinous dryness. A little tart. A little bretty. Very decent mouthfeel is a bit smoothie like. Fine carbonation and no acidity makes for an easy drinker. Fruity oaky finish. Good gear.
