8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of lemon, grass, citrus, herb, malt. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Not bad.

Growler at home in Hackney - big thanks to Root! Pours lightly unclear gold with a frothy, white head. Very solid hoppy gold, some bready pale malts, lemon rind, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, some lingering grassy bitterness. Sound.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a thin loose white head; aroma of sour grains and citrus; fresh pithy orange taste with a grainy body; and a dry orangey finish. A simple golden ale.

Cask at Kelham Island, Sheffield. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a biscuit malt, light zesty lemon citrus light grassy hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, pale malt, fruity, biscuit malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160218]
