Smoove is named after the pug that lived on the farm where we first started brewing. Just like the pug, Smoove is a lovable velvet menace. We wanted to brew a stout with a lower strength, whilst maintaining the rich flavour the dark malt brings. We feel we've achieved that here with Smoove.
So how does it taste? velvety and creamy thanks to the oats, well balanced with a soft warm feel. The black malted barley is the key flavour here, with the hops bringing in the balance and well rounded finish.
Smoove is best enjoyed with friends, sitting round a campfire, swapping ghost stories.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Cola brown. No head. Aroma has berries and oatmeal. Flavourwise a lotra berries and underlying malt and oatmeal. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish l. Doesn't do much for me.
