This brew is 100% unadulterated Uiltje and is already the third in our Kobi trilogy. This cup of Bourbon barrel aged Imperial Coffee Oatmeal Stout is chewier than Chewbacca. Super dark and creamier than a vanilla milkshake. It is an absolute magic ball with different flavors from honey to vanilla, caramel and sweet popcorn. This Kobi also promises to be a cosmic adventure with every sip.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Marko, thanks a lot. Black pour, beige head. Nose is fusels, light coffee, some cacao. Taste is extremely fusely, solvents go up my brain immediately, there’s some booze and coffee too. Thin, watery. Well, this is not great.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Bourbon upfront with oak, coconut, vanilla, roasted malt, soft coffee, fudge, spicy wood, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and light to mild bitter with a little booze in the finish. Full body. Not that strong on the coffee, lots of bourbon and oak, smooth, very nice.

33cl Fles, oudje al. Zwarte kleur, dunne beige kraag. Bourbon, vanille, licht boozy, toffee, hint van kaneel, vleugje zachte koffie, gebrande mout, vijgen, bitterzoete boozy finish. Medium body, glad mondgevoel.

On tap at Arendsnest, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out bourbon barrels, medium roast and a touch of dark sugars. Flavour is rich and balanced, with lots of coffee, big bourbon barrels, and medium roast. Nice mix of coffee and bourbon. Very good.
