Cask at Sportsman, Huddersfield. Pours clear pale orange with a white cap. Light grains, some caramel, apple. Taste: light to moderate sweet & light bitter, biscuit malts, some caramel, light apple, drying finish. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Cwrw Ial Tailwhip Pale ].Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet fruit, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt, fruity, sweet malt, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160218]

On cask @ the Bow Bar. Golden with a decent head. Light grain and caramel and both the nose and palate. It’s light to medium bodied. The finish is dry and balanced. Decent texture through the middle section. Nothing particularly special but definitely drinkable.
