Bottle from Calcott Hall Farm shop, Brentwood (which lies in the shadow of the brewery). Clear brown, quite fuzzy, no head. Chocolatey malt, some dark fruit although I'm not convinced I could tell it was plum or blackberry. Maybe a bit thin. Liked the maltiness, but definitely feels like it needs to be richer.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry with modest fine carbonation. Light malts, trace of creamy sweetness. Nice fruits more generic fruits with a mild plum accentuation. Little floral bitterness creeps in before a light finish.
