Bottle at La calamita in Rome. A clear brilliant copper color with a huge thick foamy head with great lacing and staying power. A wonderfully fresh hoppy nose vibrant juicy bitter fruits. The body is a bit light but the taste is pretty good, bitter citrus jumping around on my tastebuds. Yum.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 3, 04/12/14. Hazed orange amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is melon, pale malts, tangerine, light hop coating, grassy, touch of pine. Taste comprises citric peel, orange pith, straw, light pine needle, pink grapefruit. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Enjoyable enough hoppy number.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Big grazzie to Keen Massey for getting hold of this poorly known beer. It’s hazy amber, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry with decent fine carbonation. Nice condition! Smooth light malts. Light floralness. Good hops - little pine, medium citrus peel. Touch of lemon and a trace of tropical fruits. Pinch of hop spice. Light semi dry finish with a mild bitter linger. Good stuff.
