Bottle from Beer52. Chestnut in hue with a large beige head. Definitely get the strawberries in the aroma, although they’re rather lost in a strong generic beery smell. In the flavour hops are very much to the fore- it’s bitter from the first taste. The bitterness does mellow a little to reveal caramel, blackberries (but not strawbs or raspberries), grapefruit and pine. Lasting bitterness in the finish. Pleasant enough by the end, but the bittering hops have definitely been a little overdone making the fruit a little redundant.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com as Panda Frog Project Red Panda Twisted US Irish Red Ale - a US hop charged red ale infused with raspberries, blackberries and strawberries. A slightly hazy chestnut pour with a loose cream head; aroma of berry fruit; grainy texture with a blackberry taste; then a short tart bitterness; leaving some sour berry fruit and sweet caramel leading to a rich chocolate malt finish. Interesting, but hard to detect the other fruit, the blackberries seem to dominate.
