Cask from the brewer’s own stall at the Thame Food Festival. Light amber with a thin white head. Sweetish with some vague hop presence- maybe a little citrus. Yep, it’s another insipid sports event tie-in beer; this time for the rugby world cup.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St. Lawrence. Copper coloured with a loose white head; grainy aroma; dry, with a soft malty body; and a spicy bitterness; then a biscuity finish. Pleasant.
