650 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow/brown with light head. Aromas of melons and grapes with a hint of biscuit and hops. Initial candied fruit flavor with a bit of maltiness and a hoppy finish. Distinctive for a Pilsner.

Cloudy tan and a thin head. Quite yeasty and with some green grape and pear esters on the nose. The malts are a bit thick and doughy; the hops are mossy and perhaps not as bright as I would like to see for the style.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Deep blond color, with small head. Nice aroma of cereals and malt. Good body strength, malt flavor with tones of hay; strong bitterness, with a moderate hoppy grassy touch.
I wish an Imperial Pilsner for once can accentuate the crispy malt and the nobility of mitteleuropean hops; that won’t be this one.

650mL bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a mostly clear copper with a white head. Crisp pilsner hops on the nose, with a floral and biscuity qualities. Flavour is very crisp, with dry grassy hops, cereal and a slight sweetness. Hops are very fresh and biting. Wonderful example of a pilsner and yet another great addition to Lighthouse's "big" beers.
