Lightly hazy deep amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate starts smooth but it has a crispy back end. Smooth malts, touch of unsweet toffee and a trace of malt cream. Mild sweet floralness and modest dried fruits. Smooth finish. Comes together well enough. Smooth and drinkable.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clapham, London, 29 Nov 2014) Dark ruby red colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, red fruit and a touch of chocolate. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, red fruit, some chocolate and a gentle, spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.
