Hazy golden and copper coloured body with a thinnish off-white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of wheat, coriander seed, pungent grassy and herbal hop smell with a good deal of alcohol as well, nice complexity. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive wheaty flavour with a good grassy and floral hoppy note and a ton of orange and citrus notes along with a great belgian and german yeast complexity. Aftertaste shows tons of coriander seed, curacao, yeast and grass with a lot of alcohol and floral qualities - nicely complex. Overall, a nice beer for the style with a lot of hops and a lot of complex yeast characteristics - great to finally sample a very nice beer here in British Columbia. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from the Crosstown Liqour Store in Vancouver, British Columbia yesterday on 07-June-2015 for CA$6,00 sampled in my hotel room here in the centre of town in Vancouver, BC on 08-June-2015.

On cask at the Alibi Room (dry hopped with amarillo), pours a cloudy darkish orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh orangey hops, resting on a bed of wheat. Flavour is very juicy, with orangey hops, some caramel, and a faint glimpse of a wheaty backdrop. This doesn't strike me as a hef, but more of a hoppy ale of some kind. Decent stuff.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with light head. Aromas of nectarines, citrus, mangoes and . Fruity flavors of peach/apricot, citrus, and grape; plus candy, resin and light spice. Don’t get much of the hefeweizen but there are a lot of fruity hops. Nice summer beer.

Bottle from Darby’s Liquor, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color with medium sized head. Nice aroma, fresh, fruity, peachy, but also with a bit more pungent touch, and some spices. Good body structure, soft mouthfeel, not too dry; the malt and wheat profile is not exciting; the hopping is more interesting, with lemony character, some hop resins, evidence of Citra; though it clashes a bit with the spiciness.
Appreciated because the Citra character is well showcased; good summer beer.

Cloudy tan, thick head. Aroma is pears, yeast, gummy pale malts and a dash of citrusy hop. Has a lot of weizen sweetness, grapefruit rind hop, but also a fair bit of dusty yeast and some ashy/burnt phenols that the hops are covering up. Still ok beer.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Cloudy light golden yellow with white head. Aroma of citra hops and a musky yeast. Flavour has a little funky wheat that coats the tongue and moves into a mild dry hop finish. Smooth and slightly sticky.
