Bottle from Jake’s Liquor Store, Port Moody
Obviously and sadly, the bottle is not dated, but we know that this beer has been hanging around for some time now.
Hazy amber color, small head. Dry mouthfeel; the malt profile has a too strong character of cereals and husks; ordinary bitterness, and the hop doesn’t add any quality.
Not so good, a bit old, but we know that this series was not born under a good star anyway.

Copper with nice lacing. The aroma has a slight fruitiness. There’s a moderate bitterness and a slightly earthy, toasty malt character. Not that exciting, basically an amber ale, but that’s because Summit can’t really stand on its own.

650 ml bottle. Pours copper color with light bubbly head. Aromas of pine, orange peel and light toffee. Flavors of tropical fruit and pine. Simple and clean. The easiest to quaff of the series.

650mL bottle, pours a clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Nose brings out loads of piney hops upfront, followed by floral notes and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Dry and well-balanced, with a lightly spicy finish. One of the better beers in the series.
