Handpull cask at the Kings Arms, Leicester. Deep gold and clear with a small white head. Lots of lacing. Doesn't really smell of much. Some light grain with a light metallic character and a hint of butterscotch. Resfrashing clean taste with lots of bittering hop on the long finish but again very little individual character. Pleasant enough I suppose but it's far from memorable.

1st Oct 2017. Cask pint in The Cock Hotel, Wellington Shropshire. This years Green Hop is amber in colour with an off-white crown of bubbles. Hop forward but not overly so, piney and spruce like in both the nose and taste, light herbal twist also. Easy drinking session ale that isn't as hoppy as the name might suggest.
