Hazy gold, stark white head. Lightly sulphury nose and palate.Light hop bitterness with a hint of cotton candy.

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Pale hazy yellow. I’m not excited by the aroma, plastic, wheat; I’ve found this a number of times but mostly common in North America and Scandinavia. The malt and wheat flavor is a bit bready, rather boring; for some reason I expected noble hops and I got instead no hops (missing a ’ble’). Low bitterness. Simple but clean.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malt sweetness and dry biscuity malt, no real hint of banana or anything. Flavour is fruitier and more hef-like with lots of fruity esters, some banana, and wheat. Clean and drinkable, but not really a fan of this type of American hef.

650 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow/gold with moderate head. Aromas of salty wheat and dried bananas. Flavors of sharp acidic wheat, grass, and grainy resin. Crisp and refreshing but not up to Persephone standards.

Hazy blonde. Has a yeasty weizen nose, nose picking up any distinct hop. On the palate, a wheaty, yeasty weizen with a dusty, banana character, again no evidence of the namesake hops.
