Slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a rich, two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a while. Aroma of tropical fruits, light resin, a dash of honey and some subtle flowers - pretty nice and showing a tiny bit of alpha acids and bitterness. Medium-bodied; Strong tropically and stone fruit flavours show at first with a good dose of biscuity and herbal malts just a few seconds afterwards. Aftertaste shows some light bitternss with some more hits of fruits, especially the stone fruits here, with some light sugars as well, but more of a malty profile than that of the hops and especially any bitterness, which is very mild. Overall, a nice enough beer that shows more as an APA or an EPA, but the Idaho 7 is nice, but not bitter or pungent as I was expecting. I sampled this 50 cL bottle, purchased from Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl), Oregon on 27-March-2021 for US$5,99 sampled in my cabin here in Crater Lake, Oregon on 29-March-2021, just two days later with my family while visiting the National Park.

Pale, kind of buttery, nice cask acidity. Burton doesn’t have diacetyl, and honestly I don’t get any Burton union complexity.

On cask at the Beer Junction, pours a clear pale blonde with almost no head. Aroma brings out light English hops, dry biscuity notes and some diacetyl. Flavour brings out diacetyl, subtle English hops, and dry biscuity malt. Not a fan of this.
