Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K tasting - London. Many thanks to Paddy for this one! Pours brown-black with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds roasted malts, coffee grounds, toffee, semi-dark fruits. Moderately sweet, boozy, with grainy malts, toffee and bitter earth. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with notes of toasted grains, more toffee, dried and ripe fruits. Pretty OK stuff overall.

Bottle at Kenny’s 20K, big thanks to MannyG. It pours opaque darkest brown with small head. The nose is rich, bitter - sweet, tangy, jammy berry, chocolate, slight oxidised notes (but not in a bad way), wood and vanilla. The taste is rich, bitter - sweet, oily, jammy fruits, earth, toast, chocolate, chewy malt, warming alcohol, vanilla and bourbon with a dry finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Rich, yet rather quaffable. Tasty.
