Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Hazy amber color. Aroma of nuts, dank hops, weed, toffee; definitively unique, not bad. Solid body, toffee and some caramel as flavor base, a bit grainy, with resiny hops, but not the ones that are bright enough for a single hop beer.
Good brew, underwhelming though.

Amber. This has a decent powdery hop note, The malts are decent, with a touch of caramel. The hops are powdery, and a bit more of sulphur. I'd say the structure is pretty good, but Ahtanum might not be the best hop for this type of beer.

650ml bottles at Matt's. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma is floral-herbal hops similar to European hops. Similar taste. Tons of not good hops made a not good beer.

650mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is quite vegetal, with herbal hops, earth and biscuity malt. Flavour is very herbal and vegetal, with stale herbal and vegetal hops, with and dry biscuity malt. The hop character is total trash - stale and just unpleasant. Bad.

650ml bottle from Canada Craft Beer Club. Pink pineapple and peach aromas can hardly stick out. Earthy and malty tones can also be found in this very week nose. Coppery amber looking with a huge foam leaving fantastic lacing on glass. Taste is kind of peachy with a strong alcool feel and an earthy finish with subtil pine notes. Mango and spices can also be found in this kind of ordinary but correct DIPA. Bouteille 650 ml.
