Sampled from bottle during Borefts 2017, courtesy of Benzai, thanks for sharing! Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy aroma of grains, some straw and a touch of wort. Moderately sweet, slightly grassy taste of grains, some wort and hints of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Bottle shared with the RB crew. Yellow golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste are exactly what you'd expect: malts, hayish, grainy, slightly bitter. Low body and carbonation.

Thank you SinH4! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. Clear pale golden, so far as expected. Nose is oily vegetable corn, sugar, starch. Taste is basic oily corn, vegetable is low, oily corn, stark. Not too vegetable, oily some starch. Honestly not that terrible. Far better than their Nile Special (Lager).

22/IX/17 - bottle @ Borefts Bierfestival 2017 (Bodegraven) - BB: n/a (2017-1631) Thanks to ratebeerians and friends for sharing today's beers, and Benzai in particular for this one!

Second Uganda rating :p
Clear pale orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: very malty, grains, pretty dirty, bah, don't like. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very metallic, some grains, not much else. Well, what to expect of an African macro lager. Or just macro lager in general. ;-)
