A tart and juicy golden sour ale brewed with sea buckthorn, vanilla, and Himalayan rock salt.

Taste: Smooth sea buckthorn sourness mixes with fresh citrus zest and vanilla. Minerally salt and sea buckthorn comes in again, with a sweet lactose-marshmallow aftertaste, balanced by even more juicy sea buckthorn.

THT June at Kwartje HQ. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet lactose and candy, against some sour grain. Sickly, nutty and weird in the middle. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT July. Clear light golden with small white head. Light lactic, quite sweet malts, milky, lots of herbs, bitter berries, strong lactose, sweet berry juice. Quite sweet, under medium bitter and sour. Medium bodied. Very weird, and just way too much lactose.

taster courtesy of Sander, big thanks. dark yellow clear color, small white head. smells earthy, grassy, musty, bit herbal, light eastragon. nice smell. full body, pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, spices, herbal, rather obvious salt, also big doughy, peppery, some white wine notes, hints of vanilla. finishes lightly dry and bitter / sweet with notes of spices, grass and earthy notes. rather nice one, good complexity, almost a bit on the sweet side, but quite good to drink.

330 ml. bottle @ Speakeasy – Tallinn. Orange with no head. Nose is seasalt, big lime, kettle salt. All salty taste, massive salt, low sweet sea buckthorn juice (had just drank some from a supermarket), low vomit, stomach acid lemonade. Stomach acid body, soft carbonation, going towards too much strangely appealing largely.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, no head. Taste: Rather complex mix of moderate sweet, moderate sour and light salty notes, from the beginning to the finish. Fruity, berries, I presume it's from the buckthorn, although I don't know the taste of it. Hints of vanilla contrast well with the sour berry notes. Medium body, below average carbonation. Luckily no thyme this time. (compared to the Graff Gadient) Interesting, likeable.
