Pour from keg. Aroma is roasted bread with hints of chocolate and anise. Appearance is opaque black with minimal ring of head. Taste was medium roasted sweet with some cocoa and anise, similar to aroma. Palate is medium bodied on the creamy, silky side, but the finish was a little more bitter than I want out of a porter. Overall, this was a good beer but not a great beer.
