330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.5%. Dark brown colour, nearly black. Small off-white head. Aroma of grain, dust and thin coffee, a hint of chocolate. The flavour is not too sweet, notes of lightly roasted malts, hints of prunes, thin coffee and chocolate. .

YG 291024. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is pine, roasted malt, coffee. Flavor is pine, roasted malt, hint of licorice, dried fruit, bread, caramel. Nice beer.

Can. A clear deep golden-brown beer with a nice-looking off-white head. The aroma has an almost wort-like maltyness with bread crust and toffee. Some roasted malts and dark dried fruit. Hints of grassy hops. It's rather thin on the palate, softly carbonated and mostly on the dry side. Roasted malts, bread crusts, toffee, dark dried fruit and something borderline licorice in the flavor. Some grassy notes and a touch of wort too. Not my kind of black lager. 241029

Can @ home. Clear, dark brown body under a small, fast disapearing tan head. Aroma of dark, slightly roasted malt, toast and hint of liqurice. Taste is mild, smooth, dark malt, toast, some liquirice and hint of dry fruit. Medium body and average aftertaste. A nice and really well made dark lager, very quaffable indeed.

0,33 boks fra VPV, hjemme: brunsvart med ok skum. Deilig maltsmak med mørke karamellsjokolader, brandymarinerte rosiner og vanilje. Farlig lettdrikkelig med mild bitterhet og kraftig mersmak i den saftige avslutningen.
