New beer launched to raise money for the statue being erected in honour of the women who worked in the Steel Works in the First and Second World War. Golden Bitter- Using all British ingredients with hops from Kent and malt from Yorkshire. This beer is well balanced with a zesty lemon taste, with hints of orange.

10p per pint will go towards building the statue.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2015, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Chantry Women Of Steel ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light hoppy, UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, pale malt, light UK yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150812]

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Trace of sulphur. Light dry pale malts. Modest citric peel. Light dry finish. Passable.

Cask at GBBF 2015, day 4 - London. Pours clear yellow with a frothy white head. The nose holds pale bread, light lemon pith, hay. Light sweet flavor with some white bread, mellow bitter straw, more lemon essence. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced finish, with some dry pale malts, lightly zesty lemon, straw. Solid golden ale.

From cask. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Crisp hoppy. Bitter, light citrusy, grassy. Toasted dry malty. Mild bitter finish.
